NeedGrid questions and answers

Clear answers about NeedGrid for founders, software buyers and development providers.

What does a Founder do in NeedGrid?

A Founder describes a SaaS product and the kind of business connection they are looking for. NeedGrid can surface potentially relevant opportunities from the available product and need information. The person still chooses whether to continue.

Can NeedGrid find beta testers or guarantee my first customers?

No. NeedGrid is not a beta-tester recruitment or customer-acquisition service. It does not guarantee testers, customers, sales or product validation. The public matching flow is for potentially relevant business connections, not a recruited test panel.

How can a Buyer find software for an exact business need?

Describe the business problem and the capabilities required. NeedGrid uses that saved brief and available product information to find and compare potentially suitable software. The results can be incomplete; they are a starting point for your own evaluation.

Does Product Intelligence prove that a product has every capability?

No. It organizes evidence that is available from product information and public sources. Each fact can have source, confidence and freshness limitations. Unknown or stale information is not proof that a capability exists.

Is a Build requester the same as a Builder provider?

No. A Build requester describes software or development work they want done. A Builder is a separate development provider who can choose to opt in with a provider profile. A request does not automatically create a provider profile.

Does NeedGrid send cold messages or make a match a commitment?

A match is not a message, acceptance, contract or permission to contact. Follow the request and acceptance steps shown in the product; private conversation also requires the relevant participants' consent.

Can I run a trial or test a product through NeedGrid?

NeedGrid can display trial or offer details when they are available in a product's information and can represent supported lifecycle steps. It does not create a trial for every product or verify that a trial works; agree and test directly with the provider.

Are reviews and outcomes public endorsements?

No. Reviews and outcome records are tied to the relevant NeedGrid interaction and evidence rules. A private note is not a verified result or public customer testimonial.

What if an AI-generated product summary is wrong?

Treat generated summaries as fallible. Review the underlying product information and cited evidence where available, correct the product record, and do not use an AI summary alone for a purchasing or security decision.

Can I change my analytics choice?

Yes. Public information pages include Cookie settings in the footer. Rejecting optional analytics prevents the NeedGrid browser tracker from sending its page-view analytics requests. Necessary browser storage remembers your choice.
